Constitution (1979)
1 Name  
The body will be known as ‘The Friends of Papworth St Agnes Church’ referred to as F.O.P.S.A.C
2 Objectives  
  2.1 To support the owners of the building - The Friends of Friendless Churches (Owners)  and their successors.
  2.2 To assist in maintaining the inside of the building in conjunction with the ‘Owners’.
  2.3 To assist in maintaining the graveyard and other areas within the curtilage of the church.
  2.4 To raise funds with the express purpose of meeting objectives 2.2 and 2.3
  2.5 To promote the use of the church building for Christian and social activities.
  2.6 To make available the building for public viewing on specific occasions or for more ad-hoc visits through key access as advertised in appropriate directories.
3 Organisation  
The following officers will be appointed
    Chairman
    Secretary
    Treasurer
    who will all serve on the Committee which will comprise in total a minimum of six people.
4 Minutes  
  4.1 Annual General Meeting
    The Annual General Meeting will receive a report from the Chairman and Treasurer.  At the meeting the officers and members of the Committee will be elected and a programme for the forthcoming year will be outlined and discussed.
    Notice will be given 2 weeks in advance of the meeting.
  4.2 Committee
    The Committee will meet as necessary with not less than two meetings being held each year.
    The quorum for meetings will be three.
5 Financial Control
    The Treasurer will present a financial statement at each meeting of the Committee.
    The funds will be retained in a deposit and current account held at a bank/building society as approved by the Committee.  Cheques will be signed by two signatories out of three designated which would include the Treasurer and Chairman.
    The Treasurer will make all transfers between the current and deposit account seeking to maximise any interest received.
6 Revision  
    The Constitution will be revised as necessary by the Committee and approved at the Annual General Meeting.
7 Winding-up  
    In the event of   F.O.P.S.A.C.  ceasing as a body any funds will be transferred to the ‘Owners’ on any successors dedicated to the well being of the church.
