The Church provides a stunning location for the various village activites, most of which are staged both for enjoyment of the local population and as a way to raise funds for the upkeep of the Church.

The backbone of activities includes the Carol Service helped along by hot wine, mince pies and sausage rolls, and the Harvest Supper which is usually held in early October. The menu for the Harvest Supper includes a variety of chicken based casseroles, followed by a wide variety of apple pies and tarts, accompanied by fine wines and beers. Both of these events accompany a religious service.

Other activities include a summer BBQ held early in June. This used to be held at lunch time with rounders in the afternoon, but latterly this has become an evening event with a rock concert or other music to dance away the evening. In recent years there have been dinner evenings to celebrate Burns Night and St George's Day, and with the World Cup came the big screen and a number of impromtu BBQ's when the weather has allowed.

Until recently the villagers had to bring their own plates and cutlery to these events, but funding has been such that a full set of catering quality plates and cutlery were purchased for use at these events and as a source of funds by hiring them out.
